Hi there - my name is Zachary Steele. I am an Aerospace Engineer who graduated from Purdue University in May of 2021. So yeah, not that long ago. Even though I chose to pursue a degree in Aerospace, I have always been passionate about finance. From counting quarters for fun when I was 3 years old, to getting a Business Economics Minor during my time at University, to pursuing various side hustles while I worked full time, I have always found it essential that people find a way to stay on top of their finances. Even more so, I have always been baffled that personal finance is something seldom taught in public education, and subsequently seldom practiced in adulthood. Over 50% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, and nearly 40% of people earning over $100,000 annually live this way. This, to me, demonstrates a key issue in society. Time is the most valuable resource we have, and many are stuck in jobs they dislike, working 8-5 until they can hopefully retire at 65 years old. With inflation on the rise much faster than wages, this problem is surely only going to get worse.
It is my mission to help as many people as possible find their path to the financial freedom that will allow them to spend time on pursuits without the cloud of money hanging over their heads. I most certainly do not have all of the answers to this problem - but I am certainly searching for them and would love to share what I learn along the way. I hope to one day give everyone the tools they need to engineer their own financial freedom.
